Tips and Tricks for Making Stickers With Cricut

It's quite simple to make stickers with Cricut, and once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to do it in no time. However, it is important to keep some things in mind. These are our tips and tricks for making stickers with Cricut.

1.   Always Check the Calibration of the Cricut

Cricut is the ultimate DIY cutting machine, but sometimes they require some help. If the cutting process is not correct, then go to the Settings tab and follow the Print then Cut calibration instructions. In order to be effective, the calibration sheet must be printed in black and white and at the proper size.

2.   Where You Keep Material Matters

When you put your material on the cutting mat, it should be on the top left-hand side. Line it up directly with the top left edge of the mat. If the material is not placed correctly, the sensors will not be able to detect the image, and your cut will not work.

You can see how easy it is to make stickers with Cricut; There are so many different types of craft projects you can do with a Cricut machine, including making your own mugs or cutting HTV vinyl and making your own customized T-shirts with a Cricut EasyPress.

3.   Print Then Cut In One Go

Be sure to start the print-then-cut project at once on the same desktop computer to prevent bouncing off designs and incorrect censor marks.

4.   Sensor Not Working? Check Light

If your Cricut machine throws an error during the scanning process, it may have something to do with the lighting in your room. Direct sunlight hitting your machine's sensor will cause interference. Draw the curtains or turn off the lights before starting the scan, as the sensors perform best in low light.
